How much does a HerDoc online GP consult cost?
A short HerDoc consultation costs $49 AUD and a long consultation costs $95 AUD. Choose an appointment time, then complete your intake before payment to choose, confirm or change the consultation length.
Short and long consultations
A short consultation costs $49 AUD and is suited to one focused concern, such as an everyday GP concern, a prescription request or a medical certificate request.
A long consultation costs $95 AUD and provides more time for menopause or perimenopause care, several symptoms, treatment planning or a more detailed clinical discussion.

What the consultation fee includes
The fee covers the consultation with an AHPRA-registered Australian GP.
If the doctor provides a prescription, medical certificate, pathology or imaging referral, or specialist referral during the consultation, there is no additional HerDoc fee.

Medicare rebates
HerDoc consultations are privately billed unless the appointment type or patient circumstances are eligible under current Medicare rules.
After choosing an appointment time, patients complete their intake before payment. HerDoc checks whether a Medicare rebate applies to their circumstances. Where a rebate applies, it is deducted from the consultation fee and the lower final amount is shown before confirmation.

Rescheduling, cancellations and missed appointments
Appointments can be rescheduled without charge or cancelled for a full refund more than two hours before the appointment.
For a first late cancellation or missed appointment, the same payment can be used to rebook once within seven days. A second late cancellation or missed appointment forfeits the payment.

- Rapidly worsening symptoms

When to seek urgent care
Call 000 or go to an emergency department for severe, sudden, rapidly worsening or dangerous symptoms.

- Severe breathing difficulty
- Severe pain or bleeding
- Fainting or collapse
- Immediate danger or risk of harm
