How much does a HerDoc online GP consult cost?
At launch, an eligible standard consultation will be bulk billed at $0 with no gap. A private standard consultation will cost $49 AUD and a private long consultation will cost $95 AUD. Choose the appointment length and time during booking; HerDoc shows the price that applies before you confirm.

A private long consultation will cost $95 AUD and provides more time for several symptoms, treatment planning or a more detailed discussion.

What the consultation fee includes
The fee covers the consultation with an AHPRA-registered Australian GP.
If the doctor provides a prescription, medical certificate, pathology or imaging referral, or specialist referral during the consultation, there is no additional HerDoc fee.

Bulk billing and Medicare eligibility
At launch, a standard consultation that meets HerDoc requirements and current Medicare eligibility rules will be bulk billed. HerDoc will accept the Medicare benefit as full payment, so the eligible appointment costs $0 with no gap.

DVA-funded consultations
HerDoc supports DVA-funded consultations for eligible Veteran Card holders. Coverage depends on your card, the condition being treated and the appointment. Confirm DVA coverage before booking.
Rescheduling, cancellations and missed appointments
For an appointment you have paid for, you can reschedule without charge or cancel for a full refund more than two hours before the appointment.
For a first late cancellation or missed appointment you have paid for, the same payment can be used to rebook once within seven days. A second late cancellation or missed private appointment forfeits the payment. An eligible bulk-billed consultation has no consult payment to refund or transfer.
